About ReSound

Hearing loss is a condition that is suffered by thousands of people worldwide. At Resound, they’ve been working for over 60 years to improve the quality of hearing – and the quality of life – of people with all levels of hearing impairment. Based in Ballerup, Denmark, and represented in more than 80 countries, ReSound is part of the GN ReSound Group, one of the largest providers of hearing instruments in the world.

ReSound has been responsible for a number of hearing industry firsts, including WDRC (Wide Dynamic Range Compression) which broke ground for sound processing. DFS (Digital Feedback Suppression) was the first system to effectively eliminate howling and sound distortion.

The be by Resound remote microphone hearing aids are designed for those with mild to moderately severe hearing loss. It comes in two different styles and colours and boasts an impressive 100 hour battery life. The in the ear design with improved venting options allow air to travel into the air and results in more natural sounds to the ear.

This revolutionary behind the ear (BTE) hearing aid from ReSound fits comfortably behind the ear, so discrete that most people won’t even see it. The dot² by ReSound is so light it weighs about the same as a paper clip, you will forget you’re wearing it. Don’t be fooled by the weight and size, this BTE hearing aid packs a serious punch – you’ll experience a dramatic improvement in your hearing, and the comfort of knowing you have the latest technology right at your fingertips.

The dot² by ReSound behind the ear hearing aid is designed for mild to profound hearing loss. It comes in a range of 15 neutral and fashionable colours, so there is a model to suit every lifestyle or personality. The hearing aid is suited to a vast range of hearing conditions ranging from quiet, to demanding and features a surround sound processor with integrated wind noise management. Expect a battery life of approximately 110 hours.

ReSound Live™

Imagine going from a set of stereo speakers to a full surround sound experience. Fully customised to meet your needs, the ReSound Live™ hearing aid range delivers a unique surround sound experience. You’ll enjoy a fuller, richer, more complete hearing experience. You’ll be able to locate where sounds are coming from and easily enjoy conversations in noisy environments.

The ReSound Live™ hearing range comes in 5 styles, including behind the ear (BTE), power behind the ear, mini behind the ear, and custom in the ear (ITE) hearing aids with 14 colours available in the BTE range and 7 different variants in the ITE range including half shell, canal, full shell, ITE with remote microphone, CIC with remote microphone, ITC with remote microphone and completely in the canal hearing aids (CIC).

ReSound Essence™

The ReSound Essence™ is the ideal solution for budget conscious consumers. Packed with tried and tested technology the ReSound Essence™ hearing aid delivers everything you need to enhance your quality of life through better hearing. A robust solution, strong enough to handle every day wear and tear and outstanding battery life of up to 372 hours means less need for replacing batteries.

The ReSound Essence™ comes in a choice of behind the ear (BTE) or custom in ear hearing aids, with a choice of full shell, half shell, completely in the canal or canal options. The behind the ear hearing aids come in a range of 5 colours. The ReSound Essence™ range is suitable for patients with mild to severe hearing loss and are ideally suited to quiet hearing environments.

ReSound Sparx™

Especially designed with the need of power users in mind the ReSound Sparx™ takes full advantage of ReSound technologies and expertise and provides a value-for-money solution for any super-power user.

The ReSound Sparx™ is a behind the ear hearing device which is suitable for profound hearing loss. It comes in a choice of 5 neutral and fashion colours, and has an average battery life of up to 315 hours. The ReSound Sparx™ behind the ear hearing solution is suited to quiet to demanding hearing environments and also features wind noise reduction, volume control and a program button for greater adaptability.

ReSound Azure™

For those who don’t want to compromise on quality or design, the ReSound Azure™ is a high-end hearing aid that combines the latest digital technology with sleek, elegant and contemporary design. The ReSound Azure™ features a program button and volume control, allowing for easy adjustment on the go, and an impressive battery life of up to 330 hours.

The ReSound Azure™ range comes in three behind the ear designs including a mini BTE, power BTE and regular behind the ear option. The ReSound Azure™ also comes in a custom option of full shell, half shell, completely in the canal (CIC) or canal (ITC) models. The behind the ear range comes in a choice of 14 neutral or fashion colours.
